Casting Call Announcement: Join the Journey of Cheesteak – An Apple Studios Film!

We’re thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for young talent to shine in Apple Studios’ upcoming film, Cheesteak! Written and directed by the visionary Stephen Chbosky, this heartfelt story is set to begin filming between July and October 2025, and we’re on the lookout for the perfect actor to bring our lead character, Jason, to life.

The Role: Meet Jason

Apple Studios is seeking autistic boys aged 8-12 for the starring role of Jason. This character is a bright, observant, and highly sensitive young boy who sometimes feels overwhelmed but is always brimming with curiosity.

If you or someone you know fits Jason’s description, we’d love to hear from you! Please send your application to cheesteakcastingcall@gmail.com (mailto:cheesteakcastingcall@gmail.com). Be sure to include relevant details such as age, a brief description, and any acting experience (though experience is not required—just a genuine fit for the role). We’re excited to discover fresh talent and can’t wait to see the unique energy each applicant brings to the table.

Apple Studios is committed to authentic representation, ensuring a supportive and inclusive environment, and we’re eager to discover fresh talent for this role. If you or someone you know fits Jason’s description, please email cheesteakcastingcall@gmail.com (mailto:cheesteakcastingcall@gmail.com) with your age, a brief description, and any acting experience
